When it comes to sex and the age old question, “Is Sex Good?”, pretty much everyone has an opinion on it! These can range from conservative and puritanical morality-based stances, to the ever growing acceptance that sex is an important part of life. Just a short 10 years ago, the majority of women we and other publications polled tended to indicate that women (especially those over the age of 40) either were uncomfortable or “felt dirty” when watching adult films, reading erotic literature and the like. Between the loosening of taboos and mores in mainstream network programming which show a LOT of sex (“Games Of Thrones”, as a prime example), to the surprisingly rampant commercial success of such books as “Fifty Shades Of Grey” (not exactly Shakespeare, but it sure sold a LOT of copies!), to the more thoughtful writings of such authors as Tristan Taormino’s “The Feminist Porn Book, it’s obvious to most everyone that a LOT of women are stepping out of traditional attitudes and coming onto a new dance floor to learn some new moves.
It doesn’t always have to be serious though. I spotted a very funny Liberal Views video on College Humor today that features a large number of men and women alike giving their opinion on the “Is Sex Good?” topic.
