Remembering Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor, Star of stage and screen, famed for her extraordinary beauty, jet setting lifestyle, and of course her many marriages passed away on March 23, 2011, at the age of 79. She gave us so much, from being one of the leading advocates for the victims of AIDS to her vicious and colourful private life, which made her a tabloid sweetheart.

The Guardian, on the day of her death was quoted as saying: Yet there was something resilient about Elizabeth Taylor – a fighting spirit belied by her famous good looks. “I’ve been through it all, baby,” she once boasted. “I’m Mother Courage.”

Indeed you have been through it all Miss Taylor and you will be sorely missed.
