When not taking care of her Llama breeding micro ranch and sugaring off maple syrup, she enjoys knitting, reviewing sex toys and writing about sex positive issues.

No relation to Nancy Kulp's character on "The Beverly Hillbillies", she indeed was the character that "Miss Jane" was based on via a chance late-night sexual encounter she had with the TV show's creator, Paul Henning (also creator of Petticoat Junction and Green Acres), in 1960 to organize the presidential campaign of John F. Kennedy.

Jayne remains a little pissed to this day for this 1961 "identity theft" by the TV studio, but is not making a big deal about it.

The Entice “Katharine” Vibrator by California Exotics

by Jayne Hathaway at sssh.com Entice Katherine Vibrator by California Exotics

Product Description: The Katharine vibrator is one of two new luxury personal pleasure products from the California Exotic Novelties “Entice” range (the other is the Vivian). The unique feature is that these two vibrators warm as they vibrate, resulting in the shaft of the toy warming up to 104 degrees f. as it vibrates.

The Katharine features eight different modes of vibration, pulsation and escalation. These are controlled via an easy touch controller which has LED lights. You use the buttons to scroll through the various patterns. The two motors are independently controlled. Thus there is one button for the shaft and one for the clitoral arm. Hold each button for three seconds to turn the vibrator off.

The Entice Katharine is USB rechargeable, a charging cord is included which has magnetic contacts which charge the toy. You can do this via a computer or an existing wall charge with a USB attachment. The Katharine is primarily covered in silicone with a few ABS metallic plated features (mostly around the control panel).

The toy is a familiar rabbit style shape with two bunny ears on the end of the arm for clitoral stimulation. This product is completely waterproof and should be used with a water based lubricant.

    REVIEW:
When my review sample of the Entice™ Katharine™ arrived, the first thing that caught my attention on the box cover was the statement, “Warms As It Vibrates”.  After a quick read of the easy to understand user’s guide, I plugged it into my laptop to charge it before giving it a test run.  One of my pet peeves of many new rechargeable pleasure products is having the only way to charge it is via a USB cable.  We don’t have USB ports in our older home, so this always results in having to plug things in to a computer, or digging out yet another iPhone charger cube that will accept the USB connector.  But, it’s better than buying yet more batteries I suppose!

Once it was ready to go, I ran a bath as one of the nice features is that it is totally waterproof and I always enjoy adding a sex toy to bath time.  Once settled in and ready to give it a try, the first thing I noticed was how comfortably it fit in my hand.  A lot of Rabbit Vibrators are just too large and heavy to comfortably hold for any period of time, but the “Katharine” is just the right size for the average female hand to handle.

I ran it through its 8 functions with ease.  The control panel is very easy to work with and very intuitive.  As for power, the dual-motors provide a great deal of kick for the size of this device.

And then the magic happened:  It warmed up!  It used to be the only way to get some warmth into a vibrator was in the old fashioned ones where you had to open the cap and fill it with hot water.

The natural way that this is designed to use the heat generated by the motors is sheer poetry in motion! After finding just the right desired setting, I was treated to a very nice G-Spot orgasm that was helped along by the rabbit ears that ticked my love button.

Cleanup was easy as the silicone shaft is very smooth with no places on the toy for things to get lost in 🙂

I would highly recommend the Entice™ Katharine™ to anyone that is starting out in the “luxury toy” range.  I see the price for it online ranges for about $60 to $80, so, while a little pricey, it’s well made, well designed and perfectly balanced and sized for the average woman’s hand.
